Bye Bye! Our Friend Angela Went Home to Zimbabwe

  .
Woman of God
Our sister Angela 'Beulah' Machingura (28) went home to her family in Harare last Wednesday.

God willing, she, her parents, her 2 boys, the 2 sisters and finally her husband Kevin will be reunited soon.

Years back, the Lord blessed her with a diaper machine and so she plans to produce and sell diapers in Zimbabwe. Being an educated woman, it seems not to be impossible.

Angela stayed here in South Africa for 2 years and had to face several painful obstacles. Yet, I also could observe, that in the midst of this she kept and intensified her deep relationship with Jesus and displayed the 'Joy of the Lord'  in her life.

I came to know a prayer warrior in the past 9 months. A faithful, sincere and steadily growing woman of faith who really loves God and does not play around.

One of this people that makes you believe in the power of Jesus Christ just by watching them.

Very inspiring to the fellowship of the Ekklesia church as well as to me personally.

Angela's departure brought many tears in particular to the closest sisters Jeanné and Shiela. Ne, Jeanné? :-)

'Luckily' I had to fetch 'Kapmes-Freddie' and Ronnie at the time of Angela's departure for the Wednesday evening service, so it was easier for me as I escaped the most emotional part of the farewell.

Here is now a collection of the photos that I have of Angela:

June 2010 in town with an ex-convict named "Pieter"as she presented the
Gospel of Hope and encouraged this desperate man, just released from prison.

Weekend prayer trip to the 'Natural-Spring-Farm' with Jeanné and Shiela

With Alicia in the African winter, at the Swartberg mountains.
First time for the two young ladies ever in their lives to touch snow.
With Shiela at the sea in Pacaltsdorp
Again in Pacaltsdorp close to her former home 'Nu Dawn Park'

With Jeanné ...
... and now with the Zimbabwean sisters Judith and MeiShiela 'Irene'
With, Shiela, Aisha and Pastor Jeffrey Mwanyenya
from Bulawayo/Zimbabwe during his visit in November 2010

The day before her departure as we met coincidentally in town.
Angela was by then already very excited to go home!

One hour before the departure. In front her best friend Shiela from Zimbabwe.
Right hand side we see her landlady and friend Sarah from Somalia.
Here also with Jeanné as well as with
Sarah's sons Ishmail and Mohammad

By the way: Sarah, a more or less devoted Muslim woman gladly sold just the day before an 'I love Jesus'- cap for R 25 to me. She has lots of them in various colours in stock at her stall! When it comes to money, the religion seems maybe not to be that important. Nevertheless, I would not sell 'Allahu Akbar!' stickers. You cannot convince me otherwise! :-)

Yeah, I know it myself! Mr Geo looks stupid.
Photo taken in Sarah's corrugated iron kitchen at Lawaaikamp.

Travelling the African way.  Packing many huuuuge and heavy bags.
A last glance at Angela's room. A saddened Mohammad.

I believe I will miss Angela's fad in opening many sentences by saying:

"antchunowat, Mr Geo ? ..."  (and you know what) :-)

Blessings, Sisi!
